Talked to a fire inspector in Phoenix who said he's seeing a lot of cable runs through return air plenums without proper plenum-rated cable.

We had the same issue at a warehouse retrofit in Tempe. The inspector made us pull all the Cat6 and replace it with proper plenum cable, cost us an extra two days. Always check the spec sheet now before any big cable run.

Ugh, that's such a brutal setback. I can absolutely feel the pain of losing two whole days to a re-pull. It's one of those things you only mess up once before it gets burned into your brain forever, right? The specs are everything.
