Saw a crazy neat termination panel at a datacenter in Phoenix last month

I was doing a routine install at a datacenter off the 101 in Phoenix and walked past their main comms room. Honestly, whoever did their cable management was an artist. Every fiber patch cable was exactly the same length and routed through these little finger ducts perfect. I snapped a pic to try and copy the technique on my next big job. Anyone else run into a setup that made you rethink your whole approach?

The finger ducts are a game changer, I started using them after seeing the same thing and it cuts down on messing with zip ties forever. Just make sure you leave enough slack for the bends or the techs will hate you.

Aliceg61 is right about the slack, I learned that the hard way on a job last year. Had to rerun half a rack because the bends were too tight and the fiber kept snapping. Always add an extra inch or two at each turn, it saves so much headache later. The pros of finger ducts are real though, once you get used to them you won't want to go back to zip ties for anything permanent. Just plan the path before you start pulling cable, that's the key.
