My little cousin thought he could hide a cable run behind the couch with duct tape

He wrapped the whole coax line in silver tape and stuck it to the wall, but it peeled off and took some paint with it. I had to redo the run and explain why we use proper clips, not just tape. His mom was mad about the wall, but we all cracked up at his 'invention'. Now I bring extra clips to family visits just in case, lol.

Oh man, tape never sticks right for long. Those little adhesive cable clips are a lifesaver, they hold way better.

Ugh, tell me about it... I had some taped up for like a month and it just peeled right off, left this gross sticky mess. Switched to those clips last year and haven't looked back. They actually stay put on my desk leg, even with me bumping into it all the time. Total game changer for keeping things from looking like a tangled rat's nest.

Seriously, tape is the worst for that. It's like it waits until you trust it before it turns into a gooey mess. Those clips are the real deal, they just grab on and refuse to let go. My desk leg is basically a cable jungle gym now, but at least it's a neat jungle gym.
