My Klein crimper finally gave out on a job in Tacoma last Tuesday
Honestly, the handle just snapped clean off when I was putting a connector on a coax line for a new apartment install. I had to run back to the van and use my backup pair of pliers to finish the job, which took an extra 20 minutes. Anyone have a recommendation for a crimper that can take a real beating?

Snapped clean off? Sounds like you got your money's worth if it finally gave out after all that use. I've seen guys go through three cheap crimpers in the time one Klein lasts. Maybe the problem isn't the tool being weak, but just plain old wear and tear after years on the job. What were you expecting, a lifetime guarantee on a piece of metal you bend and twist every day?

My Klein crimper lasted eight years before the handle cracked.

Right? My old pair finally gave up after like six years of daily abuse. Felt like losing a good work buddy, but you can't really complain after that much service.
