Had to pick between a new crimper and a better ladder for a job in a tight attic space.

Went with the ladder, and it let me run a clean line across the rafters without a single snag, so what's your go-to tool when you can only grab one thing for a tricky spot?

Bought a used ladder off a guy named Sal once, drove 45 minutes to pick it up, and it turned out to be a repainted extension ladder with a bent rung. Still use it every day for attic jobs, that thing's cursed but it gets the job done.

Honestly, I'd grab the crimper every time. A shaky connection from a bad crimp will haunt you way longer than a tough climb. You can always make do with a ladder, but a solid terminator is non-negotiable.

Spot on, @jenniferb53, that's how everything falls apart.
