Finally got a tough attic pull done without dying
Had a job in Medford yesterday where the attic was packed with loose fill insulation and no crawl path. Took me 45 minutes just to find the far wall using a 2x6 plank to walk across the joists. Managed to get the drop and fish the line on the first try without falling through the ceiling.

I mean, I used to roll my eyes a little when people talked about attic pulls being a nightmare, but seeing you describe that 45 minute crawl to find the far wall really hit different. It sounds like you had to basically invent your own path through the loose fill, which I honestly didn't think about being such a big deal until now. This kind of stuff makes me appreciate the simple jobs a lot more, maybe it's just me but that first try fish sounds satisfying.
