Worst week I've had in years - messed up 3 drawer fronts on Thursday
I was rushing through a kitchen job in Nashville and totally screwed up the grain matching on three maple drawer fronts. Had to plane down and re-glue new pieces, which ate up like 5 extra hours and cost me $120 in material. Anyone else have a week where nothing seems to go right?

Honestly, I used to think grain matching was no big deal, but this job totally changed my mind. Ngl, I learned the hard way that rushing it just costs you more in the end.

That cost you $120 in material and 5 hours? Man, that stings. Were the drawer fronts from a special order batch or something that made the grain matching so tricky to begin with?
