Warning: my doors got wavy because I skipped a step before gluing up panels
I glued up five poplar panels for a kitchen in Rochester last month and they came out with a visible wave down the seam, all because I clamped them flat instead of alternating the grain. Started flipping every other board and taking a light pass over the joints with a block plane before glue, and the next batch came out dead flat. If you've been fighting cupped panels, what's your go-to for keeping them true?
