I finally started using cabinet liners after a client in Boise found sawdust in her silverware drawer
Took me about 4 hours to pull every drawer and vacuum out the tracks on a kitchen I finished 3 months prior. Now I spend the extra $40 on rolls and it saves me a callback every time, anybody else got a cheap step that pays for itself like that?
My buddy does cabinet installs down in Tucson and had the same thing bite him. Lady called him back 4 months later, said her forks smelled like paint thinner. He pulled the drawer and the bottom was still tacky from the finish, plus a pile of sanding dust stuck to it. Cost him a whole Saturday and a new set of flatware to make it right, which was way more than a roll of liner woulda run him.
