I finally figured out why my dados kept coming out ragged

For like 4 years I was running my stack dado at full speed on the table saw, and I just accepted the fuzzy edges as 'normal.' Then last month I was at a shop in Nashville and the guy there asked why I wasn't backing off the feed rate, and that was the whole problem. Slow feed, sharp teeth, and a zero clearance insert fixed it in about 10 minutes. Anyone else had a basic setup thing they just missed forever?
