When a client loves the look of their new veneer doors, should I point out they're not solid wood or keep quiet to avoid upsetting them?

Tell them they saved like two grand per door and watch their eyes light up. Then casually mention the particle board core when they ask why it sounds hollow when they knock on it. They'll either laugh or quietly die inside, no in between.

Actually it's usually hollow core not particle board... same letdown though.
