Beware the domino effect of a bad drawer slide jig

Spent 6 hours last Friday re-drilling 14 drawer fronts because my homemade jig was off by 1/16th, and now I'm trying to talk a client in Portland out of a full redo. Anyone else had a simple setup cost them a whole afternoon and a chunk of reputation?
