Appreciation post: The $12 glue brush that kicked my foam brush habit

I used those cheap foam brushes for spreading glue for like 10 years. Then last month I grabbed a silicone glue brush from the hardware store for 12 bucks on a whim. That thing spreads so even and cleans up in 30 seconds with just water. Anyone else switch to something simple that made a big difference?

Kicked my foam brush habit too but only after I spent a solid 20 minutes picking dried glue out of one with a toothpick. Felt like a real genius that day. The silicone ones are nice but I still manage to drop mine in the glue pot at least once per project. Got a little glue crust on the handle now that I keep meaning to scrape off. Small victories.
