A finisher in Grand Rapids told me my door gaps looked like a roller coaster
I was running my shim gaps at a fat 3/32 thinking it made the doors swing easy, and he pointed out how uneven they all read once the stain hit them. I bought a set of feeler gauges for $8 and started setting every gap at a tight 1/16, and now the reveals look like one clean line. Anybody else get chewed out over gaps and actually change their number?
