A Blum hinge screw stripped on site, here is what I did about it

Last Thursday I was installing a set of pantry cabinets in a remodel over in Dayton. One of the Blum hinge screws stripped out clean, not even 30 minutes after I got the doors hung. I had to drill the hole out and glue in a 6mm dowel, then redrill for the screw. Has anyone else had luck with a specific remedy for these stripped hinge holes?
