3 years of hand cutting dovetails and my boss at the shop in Bellingham still makes me use the router jig for anything over 12 inches
Spent 40 minutes dialing in a set of half blinds on a cherry drawer box last Tuesday and he walked by, tapped the jig sitting on the bench, and said the client is paying for speed not art, so how do you all handle a boss who thinks hand work is a waste of the clock?
