Was a hater on fabric softener sheets for the free pile, then my coworker clued me in

I used to toss any dryer sheets that showed up in the free box, figured they were pointless. But after 3 tries using them to wipe down dusty baseboards and clean scuff marks off walls, I'm fully converted, they actually work great for that. Anyone else using random giveaways for cleaning tricks instead of their intended use?

Man, that's smart. I've been passing on those sheets for years in the free pile too, never thought to grab them for cleaning. My place has old trim that gets dusty fast, and those sheets sound perfect for that. Plus it's nice to actually use something instead of just letting it go to waste. Good tip, seriously.
