Vent: The day I realized I was hoarding my giveaway pile for real

I kept holding onto a barely used waffle iron and a lamp for 8 months, telling myself someone might want them, but really I was just avoiding the awkwardness of posting. Then my neighbor in Portland said 'why are you storing trash for strangers?' and I finally listed them, both gone in 2 hours. Has anyone else been the bottleneck in their own decluttering, and what finally made you actually post that first item?

Oh man, I feel this in my bones. I had a box of old phone chargers and a desk fan sitting in my closet for a year, just because posting felt like a whole thing, you know? Finally put them up on the neighborhood group with the world's most boring photo and they were gone by dinner. The relief was way bigger than the awkwardness, it's wild.
