Shoutout to the person who gave away that old floor lamp last week

I picked it up from your porch on Tuesday and it's been working great in my reading nook. But I noticed something lately: people keep listing things as "vintage" when they're really just old and worn out. That lamp is from 1998, not the 1950s like some other posts claim. I used to work at a secondhand shop downtown and we had to explain this all the time. Has anyone else seen items mislabeled like this in the group?

Saw a news article the other week about how people mix up "vintage" with just "old junk" to get higher prices online. The worst is when they slap a high price on something from the 2000s and call it retro. That Walmart sticker story is proof people will list anything with a bragging label.

My buddy found a "vintage" lamp that still had a 2004 Walmart sticker on the bottom.
