She gave away a $400 stroller, then asked for it back a week later
Last month in the Portland Buy Nothing group someone posted a barely used jogging stroller and I was the first to claim it for my sister who just had twins. A week later the giver messaged me saying her cousin needed it now and basically demanded I return it, even though my sister had already sold her old one and was relying on it daily. I know gifts are supposed to be no strings attached, but do you think it's fair to ask for something back after it's already been used, or was I being too rigid by saying no?
