I finally started labeling my giveaway boxes after the mess at the Riverside park swap
Two Saturdays ago I hauled six boxes of stuff to the swap meet at Riverside Park in Springfield, and I did not write what was inside any of them. I stood there for 40 minutes saying 'I think this one has kitchen stuff' while people dug through my old cords and picture frames. My back hurt, the boxes got torn up, and half the good stuff never found a home. That night I got a marker and wrote KITCHEN, CORDS, and KIDS BOOKS in big letters on the flaps. Now when I drop boxes at the curb or the swap, folks grab what they need in seconds and I go home with nothing left. Does anyone else label their boxes, or am I the only one who waited this long to do it?
