Went with the cheaper band saw over the used Hobart and I keep going back and forth on it
Picked up a 3/4 hp band saw 6 weeks ago for $650 instead of a used Hobart grinder at $1,400. I told myself I'd get the grinder next spring once the lunch rush money came in. The saw does fine on bone in cuts but the fence drifts a half inch on every rib rack and I'm losing maybe 20 minutes a day fixing it. Should I have just bit the bullet on the grinder first? Curious what order you all bought your big equipment in when you were starting out.
