My old boss swore we were wasting money on a bandsaw blade sharpener, and the scrap pile proved him wrong
Back in 2019 at the shop on Delaney Street, my boss Ray cut the sharpening service from the budget and told us to just toss dull blades and buy new ones. Six months later our blade spend was up $1,400 and every guy on the rail was fighting with ragged cuts on pork loins. Brought the sharpener back out of the back room myself and ran it two nights a week, and the cuts cleaned right up. Anybody else deal with a shop owner who can't see past the invoice price?
