Dropped $200 on a bone-in ribeye primal and messed up the cap removal on my first try

That premium cut ended up as stew meat after I hacked the spinalis off too thin and now I'm wondering if anyone else has had a butchering fail that cost them way more than it should have.

@kevinc84 totally get that feeling, reminds me of the time I bought a whole duck and literally just burned it to a crisp in the oven because I got distracted watching a movie. That whole meal turned into takeout.

Man, @karen_nelson40 that's brutal. I'd be sick to my stomach watching that much money turn into dog food basically. You can grab a whole dang chuck roast for like twelve bucks at Costco. Gotta feel for whoever made that mistake.
