Tried a minimalist monthly spread and it backfired hard

I stripped my June layout down to just a single line for each day and a small box for notes, thought it would free up space but ended up forgetting two bill due dates and a dentist appointment. Has anyone else had a simple layout actually make things harder instead of easier?

Ha, absolutely! I think that pen is secretly the problem. I swear mine has it out for me, like it knows exactly when I’m in a hurry and decides to die on me. Last week I had a whole rant ready to go and my pen just stopped working mid-sentence. I sat there staring at it for a solid minute, practically daring it to start again. It didn’t, so I blamed it out loud and grabbed a different one. Been working fine ever since, so clearly the first one was the issue.
