Spent 6 hours trying to get a simple habit tracker layout to look right
I know most people say keep it simple with bullet journaling, but I ran into this issue with a habit tracker where the grid lines just would not line up with my page margins. Everyone says use a ruler and it takes 5 minutes. Ha. I must have redrawn that thing 4 times across two different notebooks. Finally gave up and switched to a digital template after nearly a full day of frustration. Has anyone else had a basic layout take way more time than it should?

Read somewhere that the whole bullet journal trend actually started with someone just trying to stay organized, not make art. Seems like it's easy to forget that part when you're staring at wonky grid lines.

Weren't the original BuJo rules literally just a notebook, a pen, and some basic symbols though? How did we go from that to needing a entire art supply store just to write down a grocery list?
