Spent $18 on a stencil kit, saved my weekly spread
I kept messing up my headers, so I grabbed a cheap stencil kit from the art store. It was $18 and came with tons of shapes. My weekly log finally looks clean without me redoing it three times. The letters are still a bit wobbly, but it beats freehand disaster. Any other cheap tools that fixed a major layout flaw for you?

@veramiller has a point about overthinking, but for some of us the wobbly letters are a real problem, not just a mental block. A basic ruler and a fine-tip pen solved my alignment issues for under five dollars, and that was a bigger fix than any fancy kit. Sometimes the cheapest tool is just forcing yourself to slow down and measure twice.
