Shoutout to the r/bujo user who said to stop redrawing my monthly spread, I owe you one
For about two years I redrew my whole monthly calendar from scratch in every new spread, ruler lines, little boxes, the works, and it ate up almost 40 minutes each time. Last month I finally tried something I saw in a comment here, which was just pre-drawing 12 months of calendar grids in the back of my Leuchtturm over one weekend. I was sure I would hate it since I like starting each month fresh, but honestly it takes me like 5 minutes now and my handwriting looks way less rushed. The weird part is my spreads actually feel more personal now, since I use the saved time to add a habits tracker and a little brain dump box at the bottom. I did mess up March and had to tape over it, but washi tape fixed that in like 10 seconds. Has anyone else switched to a whole-year setup and stuck with it, or did you go back to drawing each month by hand?
