Rant: digital spreads vs paper feel, my index card test in March

I spent 3 weeks tracking everything on index cards instead of my usual notebook, and honestly the freedom was nice but I missed flipping back through old months. Half my system relies on seeing the whole week at a glance, cards just scatter across my desk in Augusta. Anyone else torn between portability and that physical archive, or do you just commit to one and deal with it?
