PSA: Sewing my bullet journal from leftover paper really cut down on trash

I made a new journal by binding together old printer sheets and it's so satisfying to reuse stuff. What simple changes have you made to journal more green?

My friend Rachel did something similar with her old sketchbook pages. She just stabbed holes in the scraps and used some string, looks messy but she loves it.

Maybe that's part of a bigger thing where we hate throwing stuff out. I see it with old mugs becoming plant pots, or jars holding pens. Idk, maybe we just like giving things a second life, even if it looks a bit messy like Rachel's journal.
