PSA: My friend Mark saw my messy weekly spread and said something that clicked
We were grabbing coffee at that place on 5th Street, and I flipped open my journal to check something. He pointed at my crowded Monday box and said, 'Dude, that looks like a to-do list threw up.' He wasn't wrong. I had crammed in 12 tasks with no space. It made me see I was just moving stress from my head to the page, not organizing it. How do you guys keep your weekly logs from getting too packed?

Seventeen tasks, @taylorhunt... that's a cry for help.

I feel you, @taylorhunt... seventeen tasks is way too much for one day, that's insane. I tried doing that once and just ended up ignoring the whole list because it felt like a wall of failure staring back at me. Three big things makes so much more sense... it's actually doable and you don't feel bad when you don't finish everything. The most I ever try for now is maybe five, but that's on a good day when I have nothing else going on. It's just better to keep it simple and not set yourself up for disappointment, you know?

My last weekly spread had 17 tiny tasks crammed into Tuesday. I was trying to track work deadlines, gym days, and even when to water my plants. It just became a scary wall of text. Now I only write the three biggest things for each day. If I finish those, anything else is a bonus. What's the most you try to fit in one day box?
