My ink smeared all over a whole week of spreads and I just laughed

So last Tuesday I finished this really nice weekly layout with a new pen I got for like $4 at a drugstore in Austin. I closed the notebook right away like an idiot and the ink was still wet, so it transferred onto the facing page and basically ruined two full days of scheduling. I tried to scrape it off with an eraser and that just made it worse, now there's this grey smudge across Wednesday and Thursday. Ended up covering the worst part with a washi tape strip that says 'plan B' on it. Has anyone else had a pen disaster that forced them to just embrace the mess?

Wait, you closed it right away without even checking if it was dry? Lmao that washi tape save is honestly iconic though.
