My bullet journal saved me during a crazy Tuesday at the clinic
Last Tuesday, our office computer system crashed for almost four hours. I had patient notes, follow-ups, and supply orders all jumbled in my head. I pulled out my journal and used the rapid logging method to dump everything onto one page. I color-coded tasks by urgency with a green highlighter for calls and a red pen for med refills. It kept the whole day from falling apart. How do you guys handle unexpected chaos in your schedule?

Ever have a day where the tech just gives up? My buddy at a different clinic had their whole phone system go down, like, completely dead. It was total chaos trying to figure out who called about what, kinda like @robinson.adam said about just guessing. She grabbed a notepad and just started writing down messages in order, one after another, and it was the only way they didn't miss a callback. Makes you realize how a simple list can save your butt when everything else fails.

My friend Sarah is a vet tech and her clinic's power went out last month. She had to track all the boarding animals on a paper chart with a flashlight. She said her basic notebook was the only thing that kept the feeding and med times straight.

That's way more organized than I'd be in a blackout. I'd probably just be guessing and hoping the dogs weren't lying about their meds.
