I was totally against color coding my journal until I saw a 6 month comparison

I always thought color coding was way too extra for bullet journaling. But last week I saw my friend Jen's journal where she had a photo from month 1 next to month 6. The difference was NIGHT and DAY. Month 1 was just black pen scribbles, hard to find anything. Month 6 had a simple 4 color system: red for deadlines, blue for tasks, green for events, orange for notes. She said it took her maybe 3 extra minutes per week to add color. I tried it for 2 weeks and now I actually flip back through old pages. Has anyone else had a simple change like that make a huge difference in how you use your journal?

Used to mock the idea until I tried a two-color system myself and saw the light.

And that's the thing with most stuff we resist, the resistance is almost always bigger than the actual effort. Pretty sure half the things I swore I'd never do ended up being the things that made my life easier.
