Cashier at Michael's showed me why my spreads looked messy
She pointed out I was using the wrong pen tip size for my grid, a 0.5 instead of a 0.3. Has anyone else had a store employee fix a basic mistake like that?

Oh yeah that's a classic mistake lol. I used to use a 0.5 for everything too and wondered why my lines looked all blown out and sloppy until someone told me to size down.

Yeah but the real trick is pulling the skin taut enough lol.
