Took me 3 months to figure out the dishwasher was eating my grocery budget

I kept wondering why my food bill was $80 higher every month and thought I was just buying too many snacks. Turns out I was running the dishwasher half empty twice a day and the extra water and energy was adding up fast. Did anyone else miss something obvious that ate into their budget way longer than it should have?

Lol I once paid for a premium streaming service for 8 months because I was too lazy to cancel the free trial. Thought I was just bad at budgeting. Nope, just paying for movies I never watched.

$80 a month for the privilege of washing 4 plates and 3 spoons, that's a hell of a premium subscription. At least you weren't paying for the heated dry cycle on a single coffee mug.
