Those subscription boxes were bleeding me dry

I was hooked on those monthly snack boxes for like 8 months. Each one was around $25 and I thought it was a fun treat. Then I actually added up all the charges and realized I had spent over $200 on random candies and chips I mostly didn't even finish. What convinced me to cancel was seeing my bank statement and noticing I could have bought a whole week's worth of groceries for that money. Anyone else get tricked by these small monthly payments stacking up?

Same here, I dropped $300 on makeup boxes before I saw the light.

@adams.vera $300 on makeup boxes is rough. Those little charges add up so fast you don't even notice. I swear the whole point of those subscriptions is to make you forget you're paying for them. Groceries win every time over mystery candy bars.
