Saved $47 a month by switching to a prepaid phone plan at T-Mobile 6 months ago
I was paying $75 a month for a big carrier plan I barely used. My buddy at work told me he pays $28 for unlimited data on a prepaid plan. I figured I had nothing to lose so I tried it last February. The coverage is exactly the same around my neighborhood in Austin. I miss having free Netflix but not for $47 extra a month. Now I just use my work wifi for streaming anyway. Anyone else try prepaid and find any hidden catches?
