Picked the $240 brake job at the shop near my place over the $120 guy 30 minutes away
The cheap guy quoted me $120 but wanted the car for two days and had no loaner. I paid $240 at the place four blocks from my apartment, got it back the same afternoon, and walked home while it was done. Has anyone else just paid more for a shop close by instead of chasing the lowest price?
