My $18 Tuesday at Aldi went so well it kind of freaked me out, was it luck or a system?
I hit Aldi on a Tuesday morning with $25 cash in my pocket and walked out with 6 meals worth of food plus a bag of coffee for $18.43, which never happens for me. Some folks swear the trick is going in with cash only so you can't overspend, others say it's all about buying whatever produce is marked down that day and building meals around it instead of a list. I did a mix of both and now I can't tell which one did the heavy lifting. What actually moves the needle for you, a hard cash limit or just rolling with the markdowns?
