Bought the $20 rice cooker instead of the $90 one and kinda glad my grandma would laugh
Grandma cooked rice on the stove her whole life in a dented pot and I almost bought the fancy one with all the buttons last spring. Went with the cheap 6 cup one and it has made rice every single day since, not one burnt batch. Now I just wish I'd asked her how she did it on the stove before she passed, anyone else learn to cook cheap because of a parent or grandparent?
