Wait, someone actually used toothpaste to clean a lens? That's like using sandpaper to polish a car window. How does that even seem like a good idea next to a microfiber cloth? I'm shocked the coating survived the trash bin but couldn't handle someone's minty fresh attempt at cleaning.

Smart find for a lens protector. Just give it a good wash to avoid any scratches from dirt.

What do you use to wash yours? I've found a microfiber cloth with a little bit of lens cleaning spray works best. Just plain water can leave spots, and using your shirt might put tiny scratches on it. I heard someone used toothpaste once and completely ruined the coating.
