TIL that booking flights on a Tuesday saved me $140 in one trip

Last month I flew from Chicago to Denver on a Wednesday instead of Saturday because someone on here said Tuesdays are cheaper. My round trip cost $218 compared to $358 for the weekend. Has anyone else seen big savings with day-of-week tricks?

I booked a Tuesday flight to Austin once. Saved $90. Totally worth it.

Man, I did the same thing once. Booked a Tuesday flight to Denver thinking I was a genius for saving seventy bucks. Ended up spending half of that on airport snacks because I got there two hours early due to some weird timing anxiety. So really I just paid full price but with extra cheese crackers. Totally worth it for the feeling of being a savvy traveler though.
