That comment about "just book separate tickets" saved me $200 on a trip to Denver
I was about to book a round trip to Denver for $450 last month, but someone in this group told me to check individual one-way flights on different airlines instead. Southwest had a $130 deal going one way and Frontier was practically giving away the return for $120. Has anyone else found big savings by mixing airlines or is it just too risky with delays?
