Serious question, how did I fly to Denver for $68 when I used to pay $280 every time?
For about 3 years I just typed my route into a search site, picked whatever showed up first, and paid $250 to $300 round trip to see my sister in Denver. Back in March I started doing two things different: I search on a Tuesday morning instead of the weekend, and I book about 6 weeks out instead of 2. My flight two weeks ago came to $68 total with just a backpack, and I almost didn't believe the confirmation email. The big change was being willing to fly at 6am on a random Wednesday, which nobody wants to do. Does anyone have a day of the week that works best for them, or is it all just luck?
