Yeah, my luck with those travel hacks is terrible. I tried the Tuesday thing and ended up paying more for my Denver flight than my buddy who booked on a Friday. Maybe I'm just cursed. @cameron963 might be onto something with the Wednesday night idea, but knowing me, I'd probably search right when prices spike. I should just stick to setting price alerts and calling it a day.

Was that for a specific airline or just in general? I've heard similar things about late night searches on Wednesday. Might be worth trying both.
