My carry-on wheel snapped off in Prague airport last month

I was running to catch a connecting flight in Prague when my trusty old carry-on’s wheel just gave out. No warning, just a loud crack and that side dragging. Had to limp it to the gate and ended up buying a cheap duffel at a souvenir shop for 20 euros to finish my trip. Anyone have a recommendation for a budget suitcase that can actually handle a little abuse?

I heard someone say those Amazon Basics cases are actually made by the same factories that make the expensive brands. For under 50 bucks you can't really go wrong, even if it only lasts a couple years of rough travel.

Check out the Amazon Basics hardside spinner. Mine has survived way worse abuse than that.
