You can get a great workout in your room for free. I pack a yoga mat and do bodyweight exercises, and it works better than any overpriced gym.

Check if the fee is really a scam or just a charge for an easy option. Some travelers use those gyms and like them. Saying it's a rip-off seems like making a big deal out of nothing.

Yeah, calling them a scam hits the nail on the head. I always feel ripped off when I see that fee for a couple of dumbbells and a treadmill. Your bodyweight plan is definitely the smarter move.

Ever feel so cheap you try to argue with the gym's billing system? I once called my bank to cancel a charge, then felt so bad I did a set of push-ups in my living room as an apology lmao. My wallet and my guilt get a better workout than I do.
