Heard a guy at the hostel in Prague say he only books flights on Tuesday afternoons
Tbh, I was making coffee and he was telling his friend that for years he'd saved cash by doing that. I looked it up later and it seems like that old rule doesn't really work anymore. Honestly, it made me think about how many of those classic 'hacks' are just outdated now. Anyone found a new, solid trick for cheap flights that actually works?

Checked flights on incognito mode last month and it actually worked. Saved like 80 bucks on a trip to Lisbon. Honestly, just being flexible with your dates is still the best move.

Honestly, I've tried the incognito trick a few times and it's hit or miss for me. But @the_oscar brings up a good point about flexible dates being the real secret weapon. What nobody mentions is that sometimes the cheapest fares are tied to specific airlines or times of day, not just random browsing. Tbh, I've had better luck just setting up price alerts on a few different sites and waiting for a drop, no inctognito needed. That way you get notified without having to refresh tabs constantly.
