The $2 bag of lentils I ignored for a year finally won me over
After my slow cooker died mid-chili last Tuesday, I dumped the stew into a pot and grabbed the dusty lentils to stretch what was left. That pot of chili with lentils filled me for two extra days and cost maybe a dollar more total. Anyone else had a cheap staple they slept on for months?
